MPKS Show 2005
The Midwest Pond & Koi Society held their 13th annual koi & goldfish show the
weekend of August 27th & 28th, 2005. The Midwest Show is one of the
largest in the country and had 68 fish entered in 2005. As is the custom
with the show, the goldfish were outstanding, and the hospitality was great.
Bryan Bateman was the Koi Chairman, and Jim Castillo was the Goldfish Chair.
The Koi judges were Pat and Larry Christensen and Charles Phelps. Peter
Ponzio was the goldfish judge.
The largest categories included Ryukins, Telescopes, and single tailed fish,
with excellent quality fish in these categories.
