Few people have influenced the goldfish hobby in the U.S. like Fred has over the past 30 years.  Virtually every book, magazine, or article published about goldfish contains his pictures.  Fred lives in the Philadelphia area, and like William T Innes and other members of the Aquarium Society of Philadelphia, has kept the goldfish tradition alive in the U.S.
